On Saturday, July 5, 2025 I was one of the fortunate ones to make the pilgrimage to Birmingham for Ozzy Osbourne’s final bow. The day was surreal, cathartic, and grand in every sense of the word. I started this piece in the immediate aftermath of that performance. My intention was to harness a bit of the energy from that day and capture Ozzy as he was - fragile, but giving his all. Well, it was shortly after that he passed away, and the artwork became more of a memorial piece, but I think it sorta was that already. This is my way of saying thank you to Ozzy, to Black Sabbath, and to heavy metal. Long live rock and roll.
These fine art prints, reproduced in stunning detail by the wizards at PRINT.WORK in Leeds, celebrate the legacy left behind by Ozzy Osbourne. Metallic ink has been incorporated into the gold elements of the design, creating a striking shimmer effect under the right light.
